About Us National Taekwondo Committee (Regd.)

The National Taekwondo Committee (NTC) was established in 2008 to promote & propagate the discipline of Taekwondo, as an art of Self Defence, fitness and sport all over India under the guideline and official mandate. It would conduct camps, competitions, motivational sessions, to yield achievers out of the younger level at schools and colleges priority.

National Taekwondo Committee (NTC), aims at the self reliance and exceptionally managed national level Taekwondo organization in India, ready to take any responsibility to roll out achievers in the discipline of Taekwondo in terms of the rules of World Taekwondo (WT) Korea regarding promotion of Taekwondo and the Govt. guidelines. NTC was formed by Master Javed Khan in 2008 as its Secretary General with a vision and mission to promote Taekwondo in India and provide maximum opportunities to Taekwondo players and help them to progress from a club level player to International level Taekwondo player . NTC has a team of efficient, qualified, experienced and highly dedicated Taekwondo Masters and officials who are working very hard to raise the level and standard of Taekwondo in India. NTC not only organized national level taekwondo events but also International level Taekwondo events in India and provided opportunities to those Indian Taekwondo Players who only dreamt to participate at international level due to financial problems and lack of sponsorships to manage the huge amount of expenses for traveling abroad. NTC conceived an exclusive programme to seek recognition in the technical faculty of World Taekwondo to open awareness of prosperous sports career by awarding higher belt grades to the qualifying trainees and avail opportunity of advanced training by the Korean exponents.

Objectives Of National Taekwondo Committe

To develop the spirit of sportsmanship & physical, mental and moral improvement in players by the means of Taekwondo.
To organize Taekwondo championships and award the winners on regular basis.
To make people aware of Taekwondo and its benefits.
To promote the Taekwondo with the help of government and public support associations.
To make the players capable as instructor, after passing in the relevant curriculums.
To encourage talented players to participate in District, State, National And International Championships under limited procedure on merit.
To arrange free Taekwondo coaching camps periodically.
To publish souvenir, magazines & booklet for promotion of Taekwondo and general awareness.
To support government in environment protection, social welfare, awareness and other govt. programmes.
To provide free medical check-up camps for Taekwondo students.
To arrange workshop, seminars and championships of Taekwondo.
To help the players in getting the scholarship from sports directorate and department.
To provide affiliation to active taekwondo clubs, centers, districts and states through proper channel.
To provide free Taekwondo uniform and equipments to financially weak players.
To honour hard working and dedicated Taekwondo instructor, coaches, referees and officials.
To make the students capable of self defence.
To encourage the girls to learn taekwondo and make them expert in self defence.
To promote art of self defence i.e. taekwondo through training camps and workshops in schools and colleges.
